Stop Hitting Fat Chip Shots
If you are having trouble getting the low point in front of the ball when you chip or hitting fat chips, here are 2 set up changes you can employ to fix this problem:
1. When setting the weight onto your left side make sure it is done with the top of your body not by just pushing your hips to the left and leaving the upper body to far behind the ball.
2. Be sure your arms are hanging straight down at address but let the club hover just above the grass. This way as the momentum of the club extends your arms further you have the room.
